Computing for the Housebound

We are able to offer the loan of a second-hand laptop computer, on a short-term basis, to people taking part. We have a number of volunteer mentors who will provide help to set up the computer and offer ongoing assistance and tuition when required. We plan to loan the computers for about six weeks to allow the housebound person to decide if the purchase of a computer will benefit them. Our tutors will help with setting up broadband and purchasing a computer.

We would like to hear from more housebound people, or their carers, who would like to take advantage of the scheme. For more information please phone Anne-Marie on 01952 211410.

Give Your Views on the NHS

People who make use of NHS services in Telford are invited to air their views at a meeting of the Telford and Wrekin Community Forum. The meeting will take place at 6pm on Wednesday 22nd February at Meeting Point House in Southwater Square in the town centre.

The meeting has been organised in partnership with NHS bodies for residents to come and talk about their NHS services and the changes taking place over the coming months.
